Holiday Life Post- Part 2/3
Hi everybody.
I didn't mean to delay the second part as long as I have. Ooops!! But I am back with the second part of my Holiday Life post series. This one is probably my favourite because this was the best thing about the holiday! (Joint top alongside my mum's birthday).
This post will be about when I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London. I had been wanting to go there for months and months. Well, since last year really when I first heard of it. We finally got round to it and I was so excited. I was hoping that I wasn't too excited and it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be but it really was even better than I expected!
We got there around 30 minuets before our slotted time so we ate our sandwiches before we went in. I started raining so heavily and thunder and lightning struck once. For me, it just added to the whole atmosphere. I was really amazing! (There will be A LOT of photo's and where I want to explain more, there will be a caption underneath as always).
This is the ball outfits from my favourite films of the series, The Goblet Of Fire
This is butter bear. I couldn't not get some while I was there. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be but I really didn't like it much. It was like butter scotch sweets melted gone through a soda stream. I was really weird and I wasn't expecting it to be fizzy at all. I think if it wasn't fizzy, I would like it more. It really wasn't to my taste but it could be to someone else's taste.
This is Fred and George's prank shop and this is one of my favourite scenes from the whole series. I remember it so much because it was just so colourful and magical that it really just captured my attention. I absolutely adore the scene and it is my favourite shop in Diagon Ally.
This was really amazing. Breathtaking actually. This was right at the end of the tour and it was just 'wow'! This is the model they used for the wide shots of the film. All the detail of this was so amazing. It just looked magnificent.
This was just after the castle. It was a really nice touch to end it all off before entering the gift shop because it had every single person that every worked on all the films over all the 8 films and all the cast that have ever been in them. It was amazing and there were thousands of them. It is nice that everyone, even if they had a small role to play in the production of the films or if they had a small role in the film, got a mention and no one was left unrecognised. I didn't manage to spot everyone but I spotted Daniel Radcliffe's one but I was looking for Robert Pattinson's one!
This was such an amazing experience! The only downside is that the gift shop was really expensive but that didn't bother me because the tour is so spectacular! Both my dad and myself had a great time and we loved every minute of it. I suggest if you love Harry Potter to go to this because it is well worth it! But book online as it is in high demand!
Look out for the third and final post coming soon!
