Review- Primark P.S Love Matte Long Last Lipsticks!
Hi everyone!
I have another review for you all today. I am reviewing the Primark P.S Love Matte Long Last Lipsticks.
So here's what they look like. They were very hard to photograph because they are a gold colour mirror style tube. I do like the gold packaging on these because from what I've seen, the other lipsticks from P.S Love are black tubes. What I like about this packaging is the fact that they have the colour on the bottom so they are easy to identify.
I have three colours from this range. I am not sure how many colours there are in the collection but these colours stood out the most to me. There is a red (on the left), a coral pink colour (middle) and a nude purple, dusty rose, taupe kind of colour (right). I really like these colours and I think they're very wearable. The nude colour I find is a little bit harder to wear because it is such a unique colour.
One thing about these that I am not crazy about is the fact that only one of them has a shade name. The nude colour is called 'Whisper' but the others don't have names. I have found this to be a recurrent problem with the P.S Love range that they don't have shade names or numbers.
So here are the swatches (in the order as pictured above). The red is on the left and I find that the red isn't as strong and opaque as I would've liked it to be. In the bullet, it looks really strong but it takes a lot of building up to get it strong. The middle colour is the coral colour and this one is a bit of a stronger colour. It is definitely more on the pink side but it's not a pure pink. This is a beautiful colour for summer and it would look great with so many looks. The nude shades is the most unique shade of them all and I don't have another colour like this in my collection. It is a purple, dusty rose, taupe kind of colour. It's very hard to describe because it is such a unique colour. The nude and the coral are the most pigmented of the three colours.
I think the formulation of these are really amazing. They go on nicely but they are quite dry but I expect matte lipsticks to be like that. They are super matte and I must be honest, I wasn't expecting too much from these as they are so inexpensive and they are from Primark but I was very wrong. I'm not sure why my expectations were low because every lip product I have tried from the P.S Love range I have loved and I think these are my favourites of them all. They are a really brilliant formula and the pigmentation is great. The lasting power is also really good and the colour lasts on the lips for a really long time which is a big bonus for me.
Overall, I love these lipsticks and they are a great addition to my collection. They are brilliant and for the price, it's even better. If there are more colours in this collection, I will be sure to pick them up because these are great products.
Have you tried these lipsticks or anything else in the P.S Love collection? Let me know in the comments.
Until next time, happy reading, Bye xx
