Review- Sleek True Colour Lipstick (Shade- Milberry)

I have a review for you all today and I am really excited about this one. I've had this product for quite a long time and I am only just getting round to review it. I am reviewing Sleek True Colour lipstick in the shade Mulberry.
First of all, I love the little box it comes in. It shows the variety of shades that they have to offer. The colours in the whole collection are great and they have such a great variety and there is a lipstick to suit every skin tone.
Once we get to the actual lipstick tube, it is quite little which I like because its the same about of lipstick as others just in a smaller, more travel friendly size. Plus, it is also oval shape rather than the classic circle shape. I love how the tube is matte and the writing isn't because it looks really professional because it is all black but you can still tell what the writing says because of the change in texture and finish.
So onto the the shade. I chose Mulberry because I really wanted a dark purple shade and this was the most perfect shade that I was looking for. It is a stunning colour. Sometimes it looks a bit more on the brown shade rather than purple but I like that because it makes it more interesting. I am obsessed with doing a bold lip using reds and hot pinks so this was really different for me. I would much rather wear a bold lip rather than a bold eye. This purple looks really good with a simple wing liner and no eye shadow because we want the lip to be the main focus.
This is the perfect shade in autumn and winter months because those are the seasons where dark lips are really in. I think that this can work really well during the day with a nice loss over the top but it would be really important to not go over the top with it. This would look amazing on a night out too. It could easily be worn with a little glitter either on the lid or in liner to just add some glamour and a classic little black dress with some glamorous accessories.
This lipstick applies really smoothly and nicely and I love that in a lipstick. The colour looks amazing on the lips and so many people would look amazing wearing this lipstick.
Overall, I love this lipstick and it is really different to what I normally wear but everyone needs to try something different sometime. If you have tried any other lipsticks in this collection or this same one, let me know because I really want to try another one. This lipstick is great and I would encourage everyone to go and find it or one in the collection.
