April Favourites!
Hi everyone!!
I have my first ever favourites post for you today. I don't think I'll be doing these every month but I feel like I've like a lot so lets jump right in!
Makeup
I'm starting with makeup as I feel I've loved quite a few products this month.
My first favourite is the Makeup Revolution 'Blush Queen' palette. I adore this! I'm such a big fan of baked blushes and when I saw Makeup Revolution made a palette full of them, I knew I had to grab it. I have been reaching for this so much and they are gorgeous blushes. They are not too intense and really easy to blend and work with and I adore this for a really pretty flush of colour on the apples of my cheeks.
Next is Makeup Revolution: I Heart Makeup 'Chocolate Vice' palette. As you may know, my absolute favourite palettes are the chocolate bar collection from Makeup Revolution and I picked this beauty up as soon as it came out and I adore it. I love the peachy and gold shades in here but it's still neutral and I love that about it because it's still super wearable.
Next is the Makeup Revolution Ultra 32 eyeshadow palette in 'Flawless 2'. I love the mix of shades in here from warm to cool tones and the matte shades. I love the red/orange tones in the top right corner. There's a great range of shades and it makes it great to travel with.
The last of the palettes I have been loving is the Makeup Revolution Highlight palette. I had been after this for such a long time and I finally picked it up. These highlighters are so intense and I love the gorgeous shade range, there's a shade suitable for so many makeup looks. These also look great mixed together so I like using two at the same time and they look so beautiful.
Next we have the Makeup Revolution 'Pro Fix' and 'Pro Prime' sprays. I'm really lazy when it comes to priming so having this in a spray makes me use it more and it's easy to use and it's helped to make my skin feel smoother before applying makeup and makes my makeup apply nicer. I love the setting spray because it helps make my stay much longer. These are a great combo and I love them!
Now we have the Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shade 'Creme De Rose'. I got this in an offer when I was buying a replacement foundation and I'm already a huge fan of the Color Tattoos. This one is such a gorgeous eyeshadow base. It's nude with a hint of pink and it matches my skin tone pretty much exactly. I love these because they can be worn on their own and they look effortless or as a base and eyeshadow sticks to these so well.
Now onto the lipsticks! First up we have the Makeup Revolution Rose Gold lipstick on 'Chauffeur'. This is such a gorgeous nude, it's the perfect hybrid between a pink toned nude and a brown nude. I think this would look fabulous on so many different skin tones which I love about it. This was sold out for so long and I was finally able to get my hands on it and I am so glad because I love it. Also, the packaging is so stunning.
Next is Lime Crime's 'Cashmere' Velvetine lipstick. This is a very popular colour. It's a beautiful cool toned pink/mauve nude and I am obsessed with it. This also applies lovely and lasts a really long time. I just adore this colour and it goes with so many looks but it's lovely and unique. I've been wearing this so much throughout April.
More liquid lipsticks next! These are the MUA Velvet Lip Lacquers in the shades 'Unity' (pale lilac) and 'Dash' (marsala colour). I am absolutely obsessed with Dash! It's such a gorgeous shade, it's a perfect transition colour from winter to spring because it's not too dark but it's not too pale either, it's stunning and I can imagine this would look good on so many people. 'Unity' is a cool toned lilac and it is very pale and I thought it would wash me out completely but it looks really pretty. It is my palest shade in my collection but I love it because I'm all for a cool toned purple lipstick.

Just throwing this in here because it does not fit into any other of the categories. This is the Victoria's Secret Body Mist in 'Mango Temptation'. This is a lovely fruity scent which I love and this lingers for a really long time compared to other body sprays I have tried before. They do a lot of different scents so you'll definitely find one you and they now sell these in different shops like superdrug so that's a win!

Music
For music, I have only really been absolutely loving one thing... Twenty One Pilots. I really got into them this month and I am absolutely obsessed with them! They are so different and a nice mix of styles from rap to rock to more toned down songs. They are so amazing and I love how different their songs are, even in their own albums. I went into listening to their music blind really because I hadn't heard any of their songs, only seen photos of them so I was really able to make my mind up which songs were my favourite and not know which ones were singles. I will list my top 3 Twenty One Pilots below in case anyone is wondering:
1. Car Radio (album: Vessel)
2. Doubt (album: Brurryface)
3. Ode To Sleep (album: Vessel)

Food
I obviously had to include food favourites but I have no photos, I'm just going to say which foods I have been loving.
1.Cool Original Dorito's- I'm usually a chilli heatwave kinda girl for Dorito's but I've just been wanting cool original all the time this month!
2. Dairy Milk Shorties biscuits- these are actually the best biscuits ever and everyone needs to try them because they are so more-ish and yummy!
3. Bran flakes with banana and raisin- Boring I know but it's such a yummy combo! I love banana's as it is but they are so nice with bran flakes!

TV, Film and Youtube
I have not really been watching a lot of TV recently because I have been watching a lot of Youtube but I'll include it!
TV - Masterchef! I'm so happy it's been back because I love watching it! It's better than the professionals version, I much prefer it with normal people but I've been watching that religiously.
TV- Bake Off Creme A La Creme- I feel like this has had a lot of mixed reviews but I'm loving it! Normal Bake Off is much better but I love that they've made a professional version.
TV- Anime- I have been watching a lot of Anime on Netflix and I have watched 3 series so far. I have watched Attack On Titan which was insanely good! I watched Sword Art Online which was my favourite, I loved the concept and story line of it and the characters, just such an epic show. I also watched Death note which was insane! I adore Death note! Such a cool, dark story and really interesting.
Film- I haven't really had a film favourite this month because I haven't watched any films I don't think.
Youtube- Velvetgh0st vlogs- I love Gabby as it is but I've been watching her vlogs religiously. She's been one of my favourite vloggers this month and I'm sure her vlogs will continue to be much longer than this.
Youtube- Glamlifeguru- Tati has been my favourite beauty Youtuber for a while now so I thought I'd include her because she is phenomenal! She's always trying new things and she is so knowledgeable and does a great mix of high end and drugstore products so go check her out!
Youtube- Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil- they're always favourites of mine, I've just particularly loved their videos the past few months!

Events and Random Items
So this month has been pretty momentous for me, something pretty big happened that I wanted for a long, long time!
I got my first tattoo!! I know it's only small but it was a massive deal for me because I was so scared about getting it. I absolutely adore it. I'm thinking of doing a post about my experience if anyone is interested at all. I'll do a quick reason why I got it now. I got this in dedication to my favourite band- Panic! At The Disco. I have been a huge fan of there's for 10 years and it's my whole teenage years (and more) right there so it means a great deal to me and I adore my little ink!
As for events, I have been to one concert this month which was to see Troye Sivan!
I went to see Troye with my friend Brogan (Check out her blog and youtube channel) and it was such an awesome gig! He was so great live! We couldn't see very well because of all the tall people but we saw little bits of him. Also, I need to credit the light production team because the lighting was so aesthetically pleasing and matched the concert atmosphere perfectly. I love concerts and this one was no exception.
We also spent the day in Manchester and went to Starbucks, aka, our hyper place, and took Brogan for her first ever Taco Bell which was nice (vlog of the day on her channel). We also went in the photobooth and the photo's are hilarious!
During the month of April, I started my last ever placement as a student nurse and I had my last ever taught lecture in university. I still haven't finished my course but I'm almost at the end and it's been a long but somehow quick three years and I've loved it. I've had some rocky times but I've made it!
Speaking of University, I went to a Learning Disability Student Nurse conference which I attended last year also and I just love it. I always come away feeling so inspired and proud to be doing what I'm doing. I took a trip to Nottingham (almost didn't go but that's a whole different matter) but I loved the conference and I'm sad that I won't be able to go again.

And that wraps up that April Favourites!!! I hope you enjoyed and let me know what your favourites have been this month!
Until next time, happy reading. Bye xx
