Review- Balance Me Shine On Tinted Lip Salve in Sheer Raspberry

I have a new post for you all today and it is a review. Before you all shout at me, I know I have not written in a while, I apologise for that.
So lets jump right into the review, I am going to be reviewing Balance Me Shine On Tinted Lip Salve in Sheer Raspberry. It is limited edition and I got it free in Glamour Magazine (UK). There was a range of things including this lip product, a body wash and a body lotion. You pick one of them and it you wanted all three, you had to buy the magazine 3 times. I went with the lip product for a couple of reasons. One is that I love trying new lip products and second, I have super sensitive skin and body washes and body lotions with a lot of scent and things really irritate my skin and cause my eczema to flare up.
This is what the product looks like and it is in a squeezy tube. As you can see, it is a red colour but it is only a tint so it doesn't come out that colour on the lips. It adds a really nice gloss to the lips which I like and it has exfoliating bits in it which helps with chapped lips. I really like that because I have chapped lips all year round and I find it really hard to find a good product that will help it to clear up. It is nice to just put in your bag and take it with you anywhere and apply it when you need it. It feels nice on the lips when it is on and it feels like it is hydrating. I also really like the packaging of it because it looks simple but all the information is there and it looks really pretty and appealing. If I was looking in a shop, I would be drawn in by the packaging and want to buy it. I also really like that they are organic products so that says to be that it is good for you to use and there are not harmful chemicals in it.
When it comes out, it is a kind of orange colour but it is very sheer so I don't mind very much and you can't tell when it is on the lips. The only thing I don't like about this product is that the smell and the taste is horrible! It really doesn't taste/smell like raspberry like I was expecting. I think it tastes kind of like cheap raspberry sweets that are not very nice to eat. It is really unpleasant but it doesn't put me off using it because it is a good product that is nice for the lips and feels good.
