Review- P.S Love Lip Glosses

By 18:20:00

Hi everyone!

So today I have a review for you all. I will be reviewing the P.S Love Lip Glosses. If you don't know P.S Love is, it is the new make up line from Primark and they have some lovely bits in this collection. I have the lip glosses to review right now.

So as you can see, they come in just a basic lip gloss tube and I got 4 shades, there are 5 in the collected but I only picked up 4 of them. I love the look of these and the only downside to the packaging is they don't have any names which is sad because I wanted them to have names. The tube is quite long and there is a good amount of product in there which is great. I picked up the red, Barbie pink, plum/pink and a baby pink. The baby pink one has glitter in it which the others don't but it looks very pretty on the lips.

The colour range is not amazing because there are only 5 shades and the other are very pink but they are very gorgeous colours. I love the red one especially because it looks beautiful over a red lipstick or just on its own and I love red lips.

As you can see from the photo, the applicator's on these are different to the typical lip gloss tube with the slanted plastic applicator. I love that it has the bristles to apply rather than the plastic because it is easier for application. It also makes it easier to add as little or as more as you want and it is easy for a more gentle, subtle look to the lips. I find this applicator is much easier for me to use because I'm not a massive fan of gloss, it prefer lipsticks but I am using these glosses a lot recently.

So I did some swatches and as you can see, they are highly pigmented which is amazing. I wasn't expecting them to be as pigmented as they are so it was a lovely surprise. You could easily wear these just on their own instead of on top of things which is really great. These really do have the quality of a more expensive products. What I also love about these is that they are not sticky to wear which is amazing because I hate sticky lip gloss which is why I didn't wear lip gloss as much. These just glide on beautifully and they are easily bendable. It is nice to just focus on the centre of the lip to give a fuller, more plumped lip because, if you're like me and have thin lips, this is a great tip and using a gloss the same, of similar colour to your lip colour, it adds much more depth to the look. I tend to wear these during the day because it is nice and more sheer than a lipstick and it can brighten the whole look up.

So overall, I am really impressed with these lip glosses and I didn't think I would be as they are from Primark. I am very pleasantly surprised by them and I really do love them. As I am not a huge lip gloss lover, these are really the only lip glosses I'll ever need because I am much more of a lipstick kinda girl. They have a colour to suit nearly every lipstick I own and I can't wait to work these into many looks. I would recommend these to people who love lip gloss or people that don't like lipsticks too much like me because they are really amazing staple lip glosses to have in any make up collection.
