The Beauty Scenario Tag!

By 16:49:00

Hi everyone!

So I know I haven't been active on here, I've been very busy. And now I have my camera to take better photos compared to my iPod which I am very please about.

I have some stuff planned for this soon. I have some reviews coming up which is what I do all the time. I am also in the process of doing a few make up tutorials and I have a series that I want to hopefully do which I am super mega excited about (if I can pull it off haha).

Well, for my return, I decided to do something a little different. I have decided to do 'The Beauty Scenario Tag'. Now, this started on YouTube. Lily Pebbles created this tag and I decided that I wanted to do a tag and I thought this would be a good one to start off with. If you would like to see more tag type posts in the future, let me know and now, lets get into it.

Question 1: You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drug store foundation. Which do you chose?
Now, I am a drug store/high street kind of girl and I don't own any high end foundations so I am only choosing one and this is my favourite foundation. I have chose the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation.
My shade is Light Porcelain (I don't know the number). I think that Maybelline have amazing foundations and I always use theirs. I have used other brands and they are really not as good as Maybelline's. This one is my particular favourite because it matches my skin tone so well, practically perfectly. It feels really light on the skin and I hate when foundations feel really heavy and I don't get that with this. It applies really smoothly and it is not too heavy coverage which is great because its nice for all the seasons. It just sits really beautifully on my skins, its not cakey, it doesn't irritate my skin and it doesn't highlight all of my dry patches. Also the shade range of these foundations is really great. I would recommend this to anyone because it is a really amazing foundation, especially for me.

Question 2: You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
As it is a interview, I would probably leave it. I am super awkward at saying stuff like that to people unless its my friends. I would hate people not telling me but I hate telling people which would be bad. Bottom line, I would ignore it and not tell her.

Question 3: You are not feeling yourself and you need a pick me up lipstick. What do you reach for?
This is really hard for me! I am such a lipstick/lip colour person. I chose the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer.
I chose the shade Reckless but any of the colours that I own I would reach for. Really any red would be my pick me up lip colour. I just love the way red looks on my lips, with my skin tone. The reason I chose this red over my other red lip products is that it is a matte finish and it goes on lovely. These lip lacquer's are my new obsession, I really love them. I would chose a red and this is my current favourite so that's what I went with.

Question. 4: You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and make up differently?
I am still a teenager (sadly coming to an end soon of being in, boo!). In my earlier teenage years, I would go out and to school with my hair still wet. I wouldn't dream of doing that now! I don't know why I did that but I did. I would also style my hair more because I didn't know how to straighten my hair in my early teenage years.
As for make up, I wasn't really into it and my mum wouldn't let me buy make up until I was like 14 or something. I used to get some in magazines and that was all I used and I thought it was the bee's knees and the best make up ever. I don't even want to think about what it did to my skin. I think I would get more into make up around that time of my life. I wish I learnt how to put it on properly and that I could wear it more confidently without me looking like someone smacked my in the face with make up on their hands.

Question 5: You ask the hairdresser for a shoulder length 'Pixie Lott' hair cut but they hear you wrong and give you a pixie cut. Do you: a) smile, say thank you, leave and call your mum and cry hysterically, b) cry in the chair and things get awkward or, c) complain to the manager and demand a refund?
I am not the type of person to say something because like I said earlier, I'm just awkward. I would chose a, that would probably be my reaction. My mum would probably ask for a refund though. But, hair does grow back so I guess that's a positive.

Question 6: Your friend surprises you with a four day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which 'do it all' palette would you pack in your make up bag?
First of all, what a great friend haha. And second, I would chose my MUA Undressed palette because it is so versatile and it can be used for so many looks, day or night.
This palette is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palette and its a fraction of the price. This is so easy to work with and the pigmentation is amazing. It really is a 'do it all' palette, especially for me because I love natural colours. This is such a bargain for an amazing product and I would really recommend giving this a try.
(£4- Superdrug)

Question 7: Your house has been robbed, don't worry, everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?
I think my make up would be the least of my worries if my house was robbed but I would really hope that my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is safe.
The reason I chose this is because it is the only high end product I own and I love it very much. This is a perfect palette and I don't want that to get taken. But its pretty easy to replace I guess but it is pricy, for me it is anyway.
(£37- Debenhams)

Question 8: Your friend borrows your make up and returns it in awful condition. Do you: a) just pretend you haven't noticed, b) ask them to repurchase it or, c) secretly do the same to something of theirs.
Depending on the product, I would probably just chose a and let it go. If it was my naked 3 palette, I would say something about how it is trashed now and they would probably offer to replace it. I wouldn't ask them to replace it or do the same to theirs. Plus, my friends would look after my make up if I were to lend them someone so it probably wouldn't be an issue.

That it folks. That's the end of the tag. I hope you enjoyed it and I encourage you to do this tag too because it is super fun. I will hopefully do more tags because I really enjoy them.
Hope you liked this and I will see you next time. Bye xx
