Top 5 Beauty Products for Summer: Cheeks!
Hi everyone!
I have the third instalment of my top 5 beauty products for summer. I have the cheeks edition for you. Most of the products in this list are MUA because I am a big fan of their blushes. Let's get started.
So first up is Sleek's Blush in the shade Rose Gold (926). First of all, the packaging of this blush is beautiful! I am obsessed with Sleek's packaging with the matte black plastic covering with the shiny black writing on. The black on black looks really chic and lovely. I also love that there is a mirror on the lid which is nice because you can use for on the go to just touch up your make up or something. Anyway, let's get down to the colour. As the name suggests, it is a rose gold colour. It is a lovely pink but it has the gold shimmer in. It is not as strongly pigmented as the other sleek blushes which I find really lovely because their blushes are very strong. This just add's a lovely glow to the cheeks with a lovely pink colour. This is perfect for summer because it does have the gold shimmer running through it. This is a beautiful blush is very budget friendly and it is a lovely blush to keep in your collection because it works well for both day and night. It looks gorgeous on pale skin but I think it can look beautiful on all skin types because gold looks nice on all skin tones, especially on dark skin. I would recommend this because it is lovely.

Next is a blush that I am truly obsessed with! This is the MUA Powder Blush in the shade Bubble Gum. This blush is beautiful. It is a nice bright pink colour as the name suggests and it is very highly pigmented. I was pleasantly surprised when I first got this because I wasn't expecting the pigmentation to be very strong and that I could build it if it was too strong but that's not the case. This is so highly pigmented that I only swipe down once with my brush, tap off the excess and gently sweep it on my cheeks but I find this very strong and I have to blend it out quite a lot to get the desired colour to make it look more natural. That is a good thing about this product is that it blends really nicely and easily so you can get a more natural look. I would recommend these blushes, especially this one because it is so lovely. The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging Even though it is plastic, its very flimsy and not a nice quality but it doesn't matter what the packaging is like, as long as the product inside. This is an amazing blush and I use it a lot!

Next is another MUA Powder Blush in the shade Candy Floss. This is a lovely lilac shade with a hint of shimmer. This one isn't as pigmented as the other but it is pretty. Lilac is a very in colour this year in spring and summer and this is a great partner to lilac lipstick. I like the subtle hint of shimmer in this and it looks nice in the cheeks. I usually chose a pink over this one pink looks more natural on my skin tone but when I want to try something different on my cheeks, I would go for this one because the colour is lovely. Again, the packaging is the same as the other blush but again, I don't mind about that because it do really like the blush itself.

Next is my go to highlighter. This is the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter. This is the only shade that they do but it is very beautiful. It is a pinked toned/champagne shimmer highlighter which is very flattering on my skin tone. This is very subtle and it is not too pigmented which is lovely because it just adds a nice glow to the skin. I very much love the pinked toned because it looks more natural. I also love how it is more duo-toned which is lovely. I just apply it to my highlighting areas and it just ties together the whole face and makes it looks more glowy. I love to use this as a part of my cheek routine and I like to place it on top of the MUA Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation in the shade Porcelain which I also place in my highlighting areas and it just makes the face look more dewy which looks really stunning. I also love the packaging of this because it looks more professional with the white plastic. It is also much more sturdy than the blushes and it also has the swirl pattern in the actual product which makes it look really appealing. This is my favourite highlighted and I would recommend this to anyone because it is beautiful.

The last product to top off the list is the MUA Pressed Powder in Shade 4. I know this is a pressed powder to set foundation into place but I use this for contouring because it is a few shades darken than my skin tone which makes it look much more natural than bronzer for my skin tone as on pale skin, bronzer can look very harsh. This is brilliant for pale skin because it creates a nice contour which looks much more natural and pretty. Also, as this is a pressed powder for setting make up in place, there is quite a lot of product which is nice because I don't need to use too much for contouring anyway so this will last me a long time. As you can see from the photo, it looks like I have hardly used it but I use this every time I do my make up without fail. If you have a paler skin tone, I would recommend a pressed powder a few shades darker than your skin tone for contouring because it looks much more natural. If you have a darker skin tone, a bronzer is a good option because it will look much better. If you have pale skin and are looking for a good contour product, I would give this a try because it is fantastic for contouring.
