Review- Makeup Revolution, I Heat Makeup, Naked Chocolate Palette!
Hi everyone!
I have another review for you all today. I have been needing to do this one for a while I am so excited to be able to do this now.
I am reviewing the Makeup Revolution, I Heart Makeup, Naked Chocolate palette.
So this is the outer casing of the palette and I must say, I really love it. It is quite thick but I think it's completely worth it because it looks really effective and I really love the melted chocolate look that this has, as do the other 2 chocolate palettes in the collection. It's a lovely, creamy yellow colour, just like chocolate which makes it really stand out in my palette collection, because nearly all my other ones have black casing. It is plastic and I find it nice and sturdy because it is thick which is a bonus because it will protect the shades in there better. It is also super easy to open.
The inside is nice and big too and there are 16 shades in here and they are all very neutral, which is most definitely my ideal shades. It comes with one of the double-ended sponge applicators, which if I'm honest, I never use. It also comes with a huge mirror which makes this really good to travel with. I also really love how this palette has a mix of warm tones and cooler tones because it caters for everyone that way. It also has a mix of mattes and shimmers which again, make it a very versatile palette.
Let's get into the swatches, shall we...
So this is the top row of colours (going from bottom of hand to top) there is, Smoothly, Divine, Mocha Lover, Dipped and Choc-Fest. The two end colours are both matte and I am really loving the shade Choc-Fest, it is most definitely one of my favourite shadows. It's a beautiful brown, plum shade which is so unique and it looks really flattering. This is definitely one of my favourite eyeshadows.
On the middle row, we have (from bottom to top, and from left to right in the palette) Adorable, Buttons, Frosted Choc, Delight, Sweet Shop and Sugar. This row only has one matte colour which is Sweet Shop and the rest are shimmers. I personally really love shimmer eye shadows, they are the ones I usually go for most of the time, with any palette in my collection. I love the shade range on this row because I find that there are a mix between warm and cool tones and they shimmers are so highly pigmented.
The last row, we have (again from bottom to top, left to right in the palette), Double Dip, Tob-le-rone, White, Milky and Way. The majority of these shades are matte but there's a nice range of matte ones which is always nice to have in an makeup collection. The shade Way is definitely one of my favourite shades. This looks beautiful as an inner corner highlight shade as it is a beautiful gold tone which I absolutely love.
This entire palette is very versatile and I really love it for that. The shades are all very wearable for every skin tone. I love the mix of shimmers and matte's and they are all so pigmented and that's a major strong point to the palette. I also love that this smells of chocolate, it adds an extra little fun element to it. I also find that this lasts a long time on the lid and I haven't felt that I have needed to apply more when I get home and have a look at it. All the shades blend beautifully and easily too.
Overall, I am absolutely obsessed with this palette, one of my all time favourites and I think Makeup Revolution have made a real winner with this one.
What do you think of this palette? I'd love to know!
Thanks for reading and until next time. Happy reading, Bye xx
