Review- MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus!

I know, it's been a while but I have another review for you all. And it's another lipstick blog post! I seemed to have done a lot of those recently but I should be doing other types of products after this. I am going to be reviewing the MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus!
Now, this lipstick has been out for a little while now and I have only just realised that I have not reviewed it yet. There is also a lip glass in this collection too but I'm not much of a gloss wearer.
Anyway, I'm sure you know what MAC lipsticks look like in terms of outer packaging. It's the simple, black bullet packaging. This is my first MAC lipstick, well, first ever MAC product. With the Viva Glam lipsticks, they have red detail rather than silver but I love the sleekness of the packaging.
On the inner tube, it is red instead of silver and it has Miley's autograph on like they do with other celebrity collaborations for Viva Glam. One of the main reasons I wanted this is because I am a huge fan of Miley Cyrus and I have been for a very long tome and this was just perfect for me.
Let's move onto the colour. So when I first saw this, I was so excited because it was Miley but also the colour. It's a gorgeous hot, neon pink. It's super bright in the bullet. I am a fan of hot pinks and bright colours for all year round and I feel like this is bright enough for summer and spring but has the kind of berry undertone for autumn and winter so to me, this really is an all year round colour.
(The ad pretty much matches the colour of the lipstick.)
Now for the swatch. I believe this is an amplified finish so it is very bright and glossy. Even though I am a huge matte lipstick lover, I can make an exception for this because I think this looks much better as a glossy finish. I did expect this to be crazy pigmented but it doesn't come across as strong on first swipe but it builds up beautifully and it doesn't need too much building up because it is still pigmented, just not as much as I thought it would be.
This is a really lovely, moisturising lipstick and I find it really comfortable to wear. When I wore this for the first time, I barely needed to reapply during the day and I wore it all day and I didn't feel it and it was very comfortable. The colour applies really nicely on the lip and it comes out super bright after a tiny bit of building up.
I am very glad that I got this because I am obsessed with the colour and the formula is amazing. I will definetly be getting another MAC lipstick in the future. (Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2 is out as I am writing this and I am going to be buying that in the near future).
