Review!- MUA Lipsticks!

Wow! It's been a while hasn't it! I know I say that it's been uni work and everything every time I don't blog but it's still true, I'm super busy!
But regardless of that, I have a review today and I feel like I haven't done one in so long. I have had this one waiting for a little while but I'm very excited about these products.
I am going to be reviewing the MUA £1 lipsticks. As you may know by now, I am a massive lover of MUA and I always have been since the brand first launched. I think that their makeup is brilliant and very cost effective and if you haven't tried anything from them yet, I would definitely recommend them.
So now, onto the review...
So first onto the packaging. I have always been a fan of the MUA lipstick packaging. It looks sleek and simple. I also love that the colour is displayed at the bottom of the packaging then there is less risk of picking up a colour that you didn't want.
I picked up Shade 2 and Shade 3. I have had Shade 3 before and the colour looks slightly different but not massively noticeable.
Shade 2 (on the left), is a plum colour but with more of a pink undertone. Shade 3 is a striking hot pink colour which I absolutely adore. I think that this hot pink lipstick is one that would suit everyone because it's a lovely universal shade.
These lipsticks are very pigmented, like the other lipsticks from MUA. Shade 2 is the top swatch and Shade 2 is the bottom one. Shade 2 is a beautiful plum which again, I think will look lovely on everyone. It's not a dark plum so it's much more wearable for more people, especially if you don't do dark colours. Shade 2 is much more of a brighter colour and outgoing. It would look beautiful in summer (and all seasons because I'm all for wearing whatever makeup you want whenever you want but that's for a different post). These lipsticks are nice and creamy and apply really nicely. Their lovely and pigmented and for the price, they are definitely a steal and I absolutely love the formulation of these lipsticks.
